Literary Discussion Series: "How the Word is Passed"
Please join us for an 8-part series to discuss the book How the Word is Passed by Clint Smith, led by Genealogy Club member and former Fairmont State University professor Dr. Ray Richardson.
Beginning in his hometown of New Orleans, Clint Smith leads the reader on an unforgettable tour of monuments and landmarks—those that are honest about the past and those that are not—that offer an intergenerational story of how slavery has been central in shaping our nation's collective history, and ourselves.
Multiple copies of How the Word is Passed are available from MCPLS in print, as well as electronically through Libby (both eBook and eAudiobook).
