Deep Ocean Exploration (All Ages) (Fairview)
Most ocean animals live in waters near the surface that are lit by sunshine. They feed on plants or animals that also need sunlight. Some animals, however, live down deep in the ocean where it is completely dark! These animals have developed special tools to survive the total darkness! Join the Fairview Public Library as we host Life in the Deep Oceans, presented by special guests Dr.'s Dick Smosna and Kathy Bruner, geology professors at WVU. Following the presentation, we will build our own ocean layers and create a one-of-a-kind shell painting. All ages are welcome.
