Beyond the Book Presents: The Homeless Mind
OCTOBER 8, 2021: TIME OF EVENT CHANGED. EVENT NOW 5:30 - 7:00 PM (It was previously 7:00 - 8:00)
Have you ever wondered how the unsheltered think and deal with their situation? Do you ponder how you can best assist those who are unsheltered? Our presenter, Franciscan Brother Bill Bradley, speaks both as one who has lived that way, and as one who has the confidence of those currently in that situation. His presentation gives a unique perspective on the situation and will dispel several myths about the unsheltered community.
This event is linked to the Beyond the Book Club title for October, At the Edge of the Haight, by Katherine Seligman. If you are interested in joining our discussion of the novel on Monday, October 25, register for that event separately.
