"Beyond the Book” Book Club Presents: A Birding Adventure with Joey Herron (Online Event)
Birds bring color and song into our lives, control insect and small rodent populations, and open our eyes to the enviroment around us. In short, they are fascinating if we pay even a little bit of attention. Joey Herron has been birding for over four decades, and has a wealth of experiences, tips, suggestions for study, and tales of adventure to share with us during this presentation, whether you are an inquirer, amateur or skilled birder.
This virtual event is open to all library patrons via Webex, a user-friendly conferencing platform. Participants can choose to connect online for both audio and visual or just by phone (audio only), depending on your comfort level and internet availability. Participants must register by noon on October 19, with an active email address. Registered participants will receive an emailed invitation link to the virtual meeting.
This event is planned in conjunction with the October selection for the “Beyond the Book” Club, Where the Crawdads Sing, by Delia Owens. If you would like to read the book and join the discussion group, details are available in the October 26 event listing.
