Speaking of Books will resume in August in a virtual discussion group. This month's selction is availalbe now to download to your digital devices.

This month's book discussion will be The Alice Network by Kate Quinn. It is available in audio and ebook formats through Hoopla and WVDELI, accessible through our website at mcpls.org.

Summary: Two women-a female spy recruited to the real-life Alice Network in France during World War I and an unconventional American socialite searching for her cousin in 1947-are brought together in a mesmerizing story of courage and redemption.

This virtual event is open to all library patrons via Webex, a user-friendly conferencing platform. Participants can choose to connect online for both audio and visual or just by phone (audio only), depending on your comfort level and internet availability. Participants must register by 9AM on August 4 with an active email address. Registered participants will receive an emailed invitation link to the virtual meeting.
