"Tell Your Story" (Online Event)
Join us as we explore stories from around the world. Christian Cox will share a variety of stories from Irish tales to African folk stories.
After hearing these stories, you’ll be able to pick up a cardboard pyramid at the library so that you can creatively 'tell your story’. Ancient Egyptians told their story by leaving behind items, art and more to express who they were. You can use your imagination and decorate your cardboard pyramid with crayons, markers, magazine clippings, pictures, whatever you’d like to use to tell your story.
Note: A limited number of cardboard pyramids will be available as a Take & Make craft that can be picked-up at any of the three Marion County branches- starting July 14.
Don't forget that you can earn a special badge by watching all 7 Facebook Live events! Each event will give you a letter that, when put in order, forms a secret code, redeemable through the Bookpoints website.
