Friends of the MCPL Annual Meeting

The Friends of the Marion County Public Library are pleased to welcome Joshua S. Robinson as the speaker of their 2018 annual meeting! Robinson will be speaking on “How a computer and video game geek became a writer”

Joshua S. Robinson rediscovered his passion for stories and creativity during National Novel Writing Month in 2010. Since then, his short fiction has been recognized by West Virginia Writers, Inc. and Fiction War Magazine, and he was first published in the anthology Fed From the Blade. He published his first novel, Separate Ways, in September 2017. In addition to writing, he has recently been creating digital art, music, and interactive stories, including a prologue to Separate Ways called Chloe's Journey. Robinson is a graduate of West Virginia University and has worked full-time as a systems engineer for nearly fifteen years, with experience in unmanned systems, security, spacecraft, transportation, and biometrics. He is a native West Virginian and lives in Morgantown with his wife, Anna.
