An Evening with Mark Twain
Here's a "don't miss it!" chance to deepen your understanding of a giant of American Literature. Enjoy this presentation by scholar Doug Riley and get to know Mark Twain better. The evening will feature a 45 minute monologue about the early years of Mark Twain in character, followed by question and answer periods in and out of character. You'll come away understanding who Mark Twain was and why he continues to draw the attention of new and returning readers and students, and the imagination of scholars world wide. This presentation is a History Alive! program of the West Virginia Humanities Council.
