FAFSA Workshop (Free Application for Federal Student Aid)
Overwhelmed and unsure about how you will manage your educational expenses for college or trade school? Help is on the way! Staff from College for WV will be on hand to walk you through filing the *NEWLY REVISED* 2025-2026 FAFSA.
PLEASE NOTE: BOTH students AND parent(s) must creat a Studentaid.gov account (FSA ID) before this event in order to successfully complete the FAFSA with our help. It takes 3-5 business days for FSA applications to be verified. Haven't done that yet? Start here.
It is also helpful to bring your parent/spouse contributors' names, dates of birth, social security number and email address. Some applicants may also need income and asset information. It takes ~1 hour complete a FAFSA if you have collected all the required documents and information. Participants will come as their schedules allow and leave as they finish.
Don't panic. You can do this.
