It's a Small World After All: Coming to America, Our Italian Heritage - Teens and Tweens

It's a Small World After All: Coming to America, Our Italian Heritage - Teens and Tweens

Join us at the Fairview Public Library as we celebrate the rich Italian heritage that has greatly influenced Marion County. We are thrilled to welcome local author Diana Pishner Walker as she shares the inspiring story of her family's immigration from Italy. Ms. Walker will discuss the challenges her family faced and the triumphs they celebrated, as well as the customs and traditions of Italy.

Tweens and teens aged 12-17 years old will have the opportunity to learn about the Italian culture and sample some delicious treats. From pepperoni rolls to The Feast of the Seven Fishes, the Italian influence is highly prevalent in our area, and this is a great chance to learn more about it.

Don't miss out on this fun and educational program! Registration is required, so sign up today and let's celebrate the Italian heritage in Marion County together!
