It's a Small World After All: Coming to America, Our Italian Heritage - Children
Join us at the Fairview Public Library as we celebrate the rich Italian heritage that has greatly influenced Marion County. Discover the customs and traditions of Italy with local author Diana Pishner Walker, as she shares her family's immigration story through her brightly illustrated children's book series, Hopping to America.
Children aged 6-11 years old will have the opportunity to learn about the Italian culture and sample some delicious treats. From pepperoni rolls to The Feast of the Seven Fishes, the Italian influence is highly prevalent in our area, and this is a great chance for children to learn more about it.
Don't miss out on this fun and educational program! Registration is required, so sign up today and let's celebrate the Italian heritage in Marion County together!
